Another birthday present for Saki! Am I sensing a pattern here? ^^;;; But no, this one is not based on Almost Heaven. Rather, I was asked to draw the possible circumstances under which Saki's characters Stevie and Alex might meet for the first time. Unfortunately, all I could come up with was a typical ballroom-balcony scene. -_-;; Ah well, I think it came out decently anyway, and Saki liked it.

Wow, I actually got around to submitting for the MAG And it's a comic, too! Well, I guess Space Coyote's cute characters really inspired me. This is a fairly silly, no-point little thing conceived for the sole purpose of having Talon (the snake) quote Cobra Commander's line from the G.I.Joe movie. (What makes this funny is that Talon really was "once a man".) I drew this all in one night, all in pencil.  Shockingly, it scanned OK. I think I might try drawing more pencil-only comic pages in the future.  It certainly saves time. ^_^

Another birthday gift for Saki, another scene from Almost Heaven. This is the 'big misunderstanding' scene, that comes before the 'kiss and make up' scene I drew below.  Comparing the two, I think my art has actually improved. O_O

As a birthday gift for Saki, I illustrated one of the last scenes in her favorite novel, Almost Heaven by Judith McNaught. Um, if you haven't read the book, basically they had sort of a big misunerstanding, and this is their big reconciliation scene. Drawing something so syrupy was a terrible strain on me, let me tell you. :P

An old entry for the now probably defunct Monthly Animefan Alternative, for their Back to School topic. Starring everyone's favorite half-breed demon-boy and 15-year-old-reincarnated-priestess, Inu-Yasha and Kagome, from Rumiko Takahashi's manga series. I thought Inu-Yasha would look cute in a school uniform. ^_-
