Volume 1

Compedium Editions

There have been two so-called "bumper compedium editions" released for the first volume, each of which collects two issues of the first volume of the series in a single handy publication (though minus the accompanying serialized prose story "Allan and the Sundered Veil", the letter columns, and some of the cute little Victorian advertisements).

First Bumper Compedium Edition collects LOEG vol. 1 issues 1 & 2.
Second Bumper Compedium Edition collects LOEG vol. 1 issues 3 & 4.

Hardcover/Softcover Collection

The hardcover collection is 192 pages long, containing all 6 issues of Volume 1 along with their covers, all 6 chapters of "Allan and the Sundered Veil" with accompanying illustrations, a foreword from the editor addressed to "children of vanquished and colonised nations the world o'er", and a number of extra illustrations and games, like the Dorian Gray Paint-By-Numbers. The softcover edition is more or less identical in content, though less expensive and looking slightly less handsome on your bookshelf.

Absolute Edition

The Absolute Edition contains two books enclosed together in a hard cardboard slipcase. Book I is more or less identical to the regular hardcover Vol. 1 collection, except printed in a much larger format (almost twice the size of the original comics). Book II contains Alan Moore's complete scripts for Vol. 1, along with sketches and an afterword by Kevin O'Neill.

Volume 2

Bumper Compendium Editions

There have been two so-called "bumper compedium editions" released for the second volume, each of which collects two issues of the first volume of the series in a single handy publication. However, it leaves out the fascinating "Traveller's Almanac" feature that appears in the regular issues.
